Salisbury events guide w/c 8th August

If the diary is looking a little empty this week, don’t worry, there is plenty to keep everyone happy in Salisbury.

Family-friendly events, theatre performances, live music and outdoor movies are just some of the options.

Here is our guide to what’s on in Salisbury this week...

Salisbury Racecourse

There are two afternoon race meets at Salisbury Racecourse this week on Wednesday 10th and Thursday 11th August. As well as the exciting horse races, there will be entertainment for the kids with Chair O Planes, Swingboats, a Large Tiger Inflatable and a six bed Trampoline Trailer in The Sarum Enclosure where you’re also allowed to picnic. Accompanied children aged 17 and under get in FREE at all Salisbury race days. Find more details here.

It's always a fun day out at Salisbury Races

City Centre Summer Activities

The outdoor cinema is returning to Salisbury Market Place this weekend. This month’s Salisbury Street Sellers will have a Movie Madness theme to it, with the brilliant Encanto and Sing 2 being shown on the big screen. There will also be free ice cream decorating (for the first 250 kids), live music and 50 artisan stalls. Encanto will be shown at 11am and Sing 2 at 1.30pm on Sunday 14th August.

Fayre on the Square also continues this week in the Guildhall Square. You’ll find deck chairs, ice cream and the City Garden Bar – all ready to keep you cool during another hot week! There’s also crazy croquet and tasty food stalls you have to try.
