Become a Salisbury CCTV volunteer

The Salisbury CCTV team is looking for new volunteers who can help play a key role in supporting the community and making sure Salisbury a safer place to live, work and visit.

In this exciting and demanding role, you will be trained to a professional standard to monitor the state-of-the-art CCTV system at key times in the communications hub inside the CCTV control room at Bourne Hill.

You'd have to be able to give 16 hours an month to the role.

A recently retired CCTV Operator said: “I will look back on my time in the CCTV team with pride and a sense of being a small part of a good bunch of people doing a very worthwhile and important job.”

Becoming a volunteer Salisbury CCTV Operator is an excellent way to support the Salisbury community whilst working with many City Partners including ShopWatch, PubWatch, City wardens, and the Police.
