Secret Gardens of the Close 2022
Sunday 12th June, 12.00noon – 4.00pm
The Friends of Salisbury Cathedral will be hosting their annual open garden event with 11 gardens in the Close opening to the public this year, including some old favourites and some lovely new gardens. These glorious hidden gardens, both large and small, are tucked away from view, giving you the opportunity to explore some hidden treasures.
There will also be a selling exhibition of some beautiful botanical artwork in the Cathedral Cloisters and Close Consort, a local recorder group will provide a musical backdrop in many of the gardens.
You can stock up on roses and other garden gems from the plant stalls on Choristers Green and refreshments will be available in the Millennium garden of the Salisbury Cathedral School.
Entry programme tickets available on the day from the Friends tent on Choristers Green as you enter the Close - £10 with accompanied under 16s free. Proceeds to Friends of Salisbury Cathedral; proceeds from refreshments to the Sudan Medical Link.
