Brew and Banter is held every Friday morning between 11.00am and 1.00pm, organised by the Salisbury & Amesbury Veterans Breakfast Club, and hosted at ALABARÉ’s Riverside Sanctuary.
It’s a chance for people who’ve served to come together for conversation, camaraderie, and cake! The sessions are drop-in, with no need to book a place in advance.
The group takes donations towards the brews and baked goods, with a portion going back into ALABARÉs Boots on the Ground initiative – offering activities to veterans who are at risk of homelessness to get outside, take part in physical endeavours, boost their mental health, build confidence, and foster teamwork. The proceeds also go into AFVBC’s chosen charities.
