Here are just some of the Christmas events you can enjoy in the city this week… 

Monday 12th December 
Hand-printed Christmas Gift Wrap at Fisherton Mill 

Learn how to design and stencil print your own Christmas wrapping paper! 

By the end of this workshop, you’ll have a set of hand-printed multi-colour patterned wrapping papers. Tickets cost £43.71 - book your spot here. 

Tuesday 13th December 
Salisbury Charter Market 

Salisbury’s historic Charter Market continues all year round. Visit the traditional market for fresh produce perfect for festive dinners and artisan gifts for all the family.  

Wednesday 14th December 
An evening of drag at The Boathouse 

Want to celebrate the festive season in style? Then get ready for a Christmas celebration like no other… 

Join drag artist Dixie for an evening of cabaret, comedy and sparkle. The Boathouse’s Christmas menu will also be on offer. Call to book your seat: 01722 656888. 

A Christmas Carol at St Paul’s Church 

Saltmine Theatre Company presents A Christmas Carol. Charles Dickens's classic tale comes to life in this festive panto fit for all the family.

Thursday 15th December 
Christmas late-night opening at Salisbury Cathedral 

For an authentically English Christmas visit Salisbury Cathedral.

Visit after dark to see the 32ft Christmas tree decorated with over 1000 twinkling lights. The gift shop will be open for Christmas shopping and you can finish off your visit with a Hot Chocolate or Mulled Wine in the restaurant. 

Dogs are welcome. Free entry from 6.30pm. Open until 8pm. 

The Deloreons at Christmas on the Square 

Step into FROST Bar at Christmas on the Square on Thursday 15th December for a cosy Christmas set from The Deloreons’ Acoustic Trio Expect singalongs, mulled wine and a good time. 

Friday 16th December 

Love Salisbury DJ Takeover at Christmas on the Square  

Ready for some festive party anthems? Join Craig Hicks in the mix at FROST Bar this Friday as he plays songs which will make you want to sing, dance and be merry! 

Saturday 17th December 
Christmas Crafting, Cards & Gift Wrap at Fisherton Mill 

Learn how to design, carve and hand print your own linocut Christmas cards, as well as stencil printing your own Christmas gift wraps, tags and papers!

Christmas Concert at St Martin’s Church 

The Farrant Singers bring their ever-popular Christmas Concert to St. Martin’s Church on Saturday 17th December. 

The concert begins with Bach's wonderful D major ‘Magnificat’ followed by a mix of choral Christmas music and audience carols. Find out more here. 

Sunday 18th December 
Sunday Festive Markets 

Soak up the festive atmosphere and find a unique Christmas gift at Salisbury's Sunday Festive Market.

Santa's Grotto
