A family business in the heart of the city, Elite Tailoring & Alterations opened in September 2018 and have since worked on thousands of garments in that time. Founded by mother and son, Gyulbahar is the main tailor and her son Murad runs the businessâ operations.
When looking for somewhere to start up their business in Salisbury, Gyulbahar and Murad were keen to find a shop with plenty of floor space. It was vital for them to have enough space to work comfortably, store garments and thoroughly check the quality of their work, and they found just that. At their shop, located on Endless Street, they have multiple work stations as well as changing rooms and ample storage for their continual rotation of projects.
With an eye for detail and 30+ years of experience, Gyulbahar offers a range of services including alterations, repairs and bespoke clothing. From prom dresses to everyday garments, no project is too big or small nor too challenging. Clothing aside, Elite Tailoring can also alter curtains to the perfect length or even create bespoke ones made to measure.
Soon-to-be brides, Elite Tailoring and Alterations can not only alter the fit of your wedding and bridesmaid dresses but the design too. Whether itâs creating sleeves or adding lace to a split, Gyulbahar will use her expertise to create exactly what youâre after, without anyone realising the original design has been updated.
