Lah Koh was founded by Shaun as a grab-and-go café style venue on Fisherton Street in November 2020. Today, it has more of a restaurant vibe and is co-owned with his sister, Sue. The siblings’ family used to have a buffet restaurant in the city, so grew up immersed in the world of hospitality and good food, and were keen to carry on their parents’ legacy.
Their Korean and East Asian inspired menu is constantly evolving, meaning there’s always something new to try. But, their popular permanent dishes include their Korean BBQ and their sushi. Lah Koh’s small plates are great for gatherings and an ideal way to taste a wide variety of dishes from different cuisines. The team take trips to Asia, and top London restaurants, to taste and test different dishes and menus, and bring back ideas to diversify Lah Koh’s menu.
Alongside the extensive food offering, Lah Koh also has an impressive drinks menu too. Incorporating hand crafted cocktails, Asian craft beers as well as bubble teas, there’s something new for everyone to try alongside all of the classic offerings.
If you don’t have time to eat-in, Lah Koh offer takeaway and this can be ordered either online or in-store on their tablet. But, if you do wish to eat in and spend an afternoon or evening out, Lah Koh has pool tables, beer towers and board games available to while away the hours. On the first Sunday of every month, Lah Koh run a plant swap. This is an event for plant lovers to swap cuttings or plants they’ve fallen out of love with, whilst enjoying a bite to eat or a coffee.
