Qudos

šŸ“  38 Castle Street, Salisbury, SP1 1BN

Keen to try something new, Andy and Vanessa took over Qudos in July 2015, having both previously worked in the hospitality trade. Located in a 19th century building on Castle Street, Qudos is an independent business with 12 guest rooms, an extensive bar, as well as a large restaurant serving a wide range of delicious dishes throughout the day.

For a midday meal, the Qudos lunch menu includes a range of wraps, baguettes, and salads as well as other traditional favourites like fish and chips. In the evenings, popular dishes include their 10oz New York Strip, Roasted Rump of Lamb, Katsu Chicken, and Pork Belly. And if that wasn’t already enough choice for the foodies, every Sunday Qudos also offer a carvery from 12pm to 2pm. Their famous Sunday Carvery includes a choice of 3 succulent meats and 5 vegetables, as well as fluffy Yorkshire puddings, homemade stuffing and tasty pigs in blankets.

Their extensive breakfast offering isn’t exclusive for just guests staying in one of their rooms either; it’s open to all, 7 days a week. On the menu, there’s a self-service continental buffet or a whole range of hot breakfast options if you fancy something freshly cooked. And, don’t worry if you can’t make your mind up, there’s also an option to have both! A great way to fuel up for the day ahead, all of their breakfasts also come with unlimited hot drinks and juices.

A hub for things to do, Qudos host a pub quiz every other Monday, a free comedy club every Thursday, and on Saturday nights, from 9pm-11pm, there’s live music from local bands. If sports are more your thing, Qudos have 4 big screens and can show 2 games simultaneously. Showing all of the big sporting events, as well as regular games day to day, it’s a great spot to watch live sports with a cold drink in hand.

The Qudos bar is well-stocked with a vast range of wines, spirits, hand-crafted cocktails and beers. Cocktails are a popular choice, and their menu includes tasty favourites like Pornstar Martinis, Espresso Martinis and Lychee Martinis.

Alongside their guest rooms, Qudos have a function room available for private hire. Suitable for a range of occasions and purposes, this space is tucked away from the main bar and restaurant, providing a truly private space for birthdays, business meetings, wakes and other events.

A key part of Salisbury’s independent hospitality scene, Qudos is a great venue to pop in for food, drinks and entertainment or even a night away.
