Home to 11 travel experts, Travellerâs World is an independently-run travel agency based on Catherine Street. Following a year of travelling in South America, Norman set up the agency with Peter (photographed) in 1981. The pair had worked together at another agency in Salisbury in 1976, and used their passion, knowledge and experience to create Travellerâs World as you know it today.
As independent travel agents, the Travellerâs World team are unbiased with what they sell and have access to an extensive range of airlines, hotels and operators. Their entire focus is on helping their clients have the right experience, getting exactly what they were looking for out of their travel. By not being tied to one operator or hotel group, they are able to do just that. With the team having been on a number of the trips and stayed at lots of the hotels themselves, their personal recommendations give valuable insight that you canât always get elsewhere.
