Take Part in RBL's Poppy Appeal Window Display Competition
2025 marks the 80th anniversary of both Victory over Japan and the end of the Second World War. To honour this milestone, the Salisbury Branch of the Royal British Legion is launching a city-wide window dressing competition to raise the profile of this year’s national Poppy Appeal.
Local businesses are warmly invited to decorate their windows with a Remembrance or Poppy-themed display, running from 20 October until Armistice Day, 11 November 2025.
Businesses wishing to take part can register their participation by emailing salisbury.web@rbl.community.
There are three brilliant prizes available for this competition:
- £600 (ex VAT) of advertising with Salisbury Journal
- £50 voucher from Dark Revolution Brewing
- £50 voucher from Bradbeers
All registered entries will be judged on 23 October 2025, with winners announced and prizes awarded during the official Poppy Appeal launch event at 10:30am on 25 October 2025, Guildhall Square, Salisbury.
This is a unique opportunity for the Salisbury business community to come together, show support for the Royal British Legion, and help honour the memory of those who served.
