In 2027, Salisbury will mark 800 years since receiving its royal charter. This anniversary will be a chance to explore our past, showcase today’s talent and imagine what comes next.
During 2027, the city will come alive with events, performances, exhibitions, talks, trails and community projects celebrating our history, creativity and future.
2027 is a celebration of our whole city – and it will only be as powerful as the people and organisations who shape it. We've over 120 collaborators currently, but we'd welcome anyone with a connection to Salisbury to get involved. This is a celebration of our city for the people who care about our city.
There are several ways to take part:
