Ride Coffee + Moto

📍  5 Fish Row, Salisbury, SP1 1EX

Opened by Gavin in late 2024, Ride Coffee + Moto is an independent coffee shop with a motorcycle theme. Gavin, formerly a landscape gardener, was visiting Salisbury for the day when he spotted the 5 Fish Row premises available. He loved it so much that he came back the next day and thereafter the Ride story was born!

It’s unsurprising Gavin was charmed by the building, complete with its high ceilings and iconic spiral staircase. Gavin and his team are only the second business to operate from this address, following in the footsteps of Pritchett’s butchers who opened there in 1870. Keeping a lot of the industrial feel, Gavin has transformed the place into a unique coffee spot in the city, with seating inside – over two floors – as well as outside.

On the menu are a variety of coffees, teas and matchas as well as a vast range of cakes and bakes. For their coffees, Ride use Bad Hand Coffee, a popular independent coffee roaster in Bournemouth. If you like making proper coffee at home, they also stock all of the classic favourites ready for you to buy and take home!

As well as coffee and treats, Ride is also home to its own range of curated pre-loved clothing. Keep an eye on their social media to see what new pieces come in, the range is always evolving and changing. In addition to being a place to shop, Ride also host monthly yoga events for the community.

Whilst this indie coffee shop has a moto theme, it’s for everyone, not just the motorbike enthusiasts. Next time you head out for a coffee, or pick one up on your way to work, why not try a cup from Ride?
