Join us to celebrate the official arrival of Autumn, when the day and night are equal in length. We will gather in Rose Cottage Garden, home of Harnham Water Meadows Trust, and enjoy hot drinks and homemade biscuits and cake together before setting off either across the water meadows or along the Town Path to watch the sun set (possibly through cloud but we'll know it's there!).
As we gather and wander, we'll identify tree, wildflower and insect species. We may spot a Grey Heron or Little Egret in the ditches on the meadows, and should see bats hunting. Who knows what other wildlife we will see?
We’ll take a mindful pause together, noticing things that often get missed - the sound of flowing water, bird calls, the shapes of the clouds and the silhouettes of the trees.
