Exhibition: Natural Wonders – Ron Dyson

  • 10 Apr - 12 Jul 26
  • Arundells
  • 10:00 - 17:00

Wildlife, Landscape and the Art of Observation. Inspired by a lifelong fascination with the natural world, Ron Dyson creates vivid, expressive works that capture the energy, mystery and beauty of nature.

Working in acrylic, watercolour and gouache, Ron has developed a distinctive illustrative style. His subjects range from richly detailed studies of animals, birds and insects to more personal, evocative compositions shaped by memory and subconscious thought. Familiar landmarks of the Jurassic Coast and wider West Country appear throughout his work, though wildlife remains at its heart.

Alongside his paintings and illustrations, Ron has also created a series of bronze sculptures, influenced by the acclaimed sculptor Jill Berelowitz.

Originally trained in Architecture and Planning at University College London, Ron spent much of his professional life working in Public Relations and Marketing before turning his focus fully to art.

Ron has produced illustrations for nature conservation charities and continues to undertake commissions. This exhibition at Arundells marks his first major solo exhibition, bringing together a significant collection of his work in one place.

Access to the exhibition is included in the price of entry to Arundells. See our visitors page for information on opening times and ticket options.
