Fisherton Mill is delighted to welcome artist sisters Rebecca Harris and Elizabeth Lee to the Mill for their first joint exhibition.
Though their artistic practices are distinct, both share a deep appreciation for-and celebration of—the natural beauty of England’s Southwest.
Since gaining an MA in illustration from Falmouth University, Rebecca has worked as a professional illustrator, featuring regularly in 'Breathe' magazine and producing a range of puzzles for the publisher 'Skittledog'. Her vibrant and intricately detailed work celebrates the natural world through colour, pattern and form.
Elizabeth qualified in Art and Design at Stroud College and since then has focussed her work on ceramic sculpture and painting. She enjoys playing with texture and colour, often adding a sense of the uncanny into her work through subversion of tone and shape, or simply the addition of an unexpected object.
