Join Salisbury City Council at The Guildhall on Tuesday 27 January 2026, as Salisbury marks Holocaust Memorial Day (HMD).
HMD takes place annually on 27 January. The international day remembers the six million Jews murdered during the Holocaust, alongside the millions more people murdered through the Nazi persecution of other groups and where persecution led in Cambodia, Rwanda, Bosnia and Darfur.
Doors will open at 09.30am, with refreshments available before the event starts promptly at 10.00am.
The programme will include readings, contemplations, presentations and a morning prayer, offering attendees an opportunity to reflect on how we can, both individually and collectively, create a more inclusive and compassionate society, free from hatred, prejudice and discrimination.
