Described as “perhaps the most interesting pianist in the world”, David Owen Norris returns to Salisbury Cathedral to play a fascinating concert including music by Gibbons, Parry, Vaughan Williams & Billy Mayerl, along with his own transcription of The Scene of the Cold Genius from Purcell’s King Arthur, and his restored version of Elgar’s mighty Concert Allegro, which was published only after his death, in a sadly truncated version.
Tickets are £15 for adults or £7.50 for children/students.
