Welcome to the Cycling Opportunities Group for Salisbury (COGS) which was formed in 1994, to support the needs of cyclists in South Wiltshire. COGS has approximately 150 active cyclists from all walks of life, living in and around the Salisbury area.

COGS campaigns to improve all kinds of facilities for cyclists in the area, from cycle paths to cycle parking and keeping cycling safety at the forefront of local issues and developments.

The COGS Summer Rides programme started at Easter, on Thursday April 21st - and goes on through to the end of summer.

Rides start at 6.30pm from Salisbury Leisure Centre in Hulse Road every Thursday evening until early September - see the remaining rides list below.

Meet by the bike racks on the far side of the entrance to the building

Routes vary each week but are no more than 12 miles in length; the riding time is usually no more than an hour or so.
