WIN with Salisbury City Community Lottery!

Salisbury is a special place. An enduring community spirit has helped it remain strong over the last 800 years.

It is that spirit that can benefit our amazing local community groups and charities after a tough few years trying to raise money through a pandemic. There is an easy way we can support them: the Salisbury City Community Lottery.

What is the Salisbury Community Lottery?

Salisbury City Community Lottery was created in 2021 by Salisbury City Council. It was set up to support community projects in the local area and operates on the principle of raising money within the community for the community.

In a time of shrinking budgets and increased community need, Salisbury City Community Lottery enables people to support the causes they care most about, helping good causes to connect with their supporters.

A ticket for Salisbury City Community Lottery costs £1 a week and 60p will go directly to good causes, compared with just 28p in the pound for the National Lottery.

There are over 45 local charities registered and waiting for your support, including Wiltshire Wildlife Hospital, Salisbury Hospital’s Stars Appeal, the MS Society and River Bourne Community Farm.

How does the lottery work?

Tickets for the lottery cost just £1 per week (you can buy as many as you like), with a top prize of £25,000!

A weekly draw takes place every Saturday night at 8pm. Match all 6 numbers and you win the JACKPOT!

Lucky winners get notified by email. Your winnings will be paid directly into your nominated bank account or you can choose to donate your winnings back to the good cause fund.
