Andy Maul, owner of this epic little gem in the heart of the city, loves to spend time with his customers, talking them through the delectable choices of cheeses and meats on offer, and suggesting perfectly paired wines for each slate. Andy and his amazing team make every visit, for every customer, a real experience! The team also love to create their 'slates-to-go' which are the perfect combination of cheeses, meats and breads for any lunch, picnic or evening with friends - they also make fantastic gifts!
Andy changes the menu twice a year, and believes the seasonal menu encourages visitors to try new foods and discover new favourites! The new winter menu will be released on November 1st, with the return of heart-warming foods like their yummy garlic infused Camembert and the best 'Mauled Wine' in town - you'd better book a table ASAP!
More than just a bar, Maul's also have a divine deli, stocked with the tastiest specialist and 'everyday' cheeses such as vintage cheddars, parmesans, cream cheeses and so much more, and the prices are better than the supermarkets! As a wine merchant, Maul's also keep a supply of exquisite wines, fresh from their cellar door, and starting from just £9.99 a bottle!
