Owned by Dave, Aimee, and Matthew under the umbrella of The Immersive Group, Tinga began its life in Salisbury in 2018 and is now considered to be their flagship brand. Other city centre faves from this talented trio include Deacons, Caboose and the recently opened Hixon. As their name suggests, the group believe in giving their customers more than just a product; an immersive experience that includes the food, drink, décor, service and authenticity.
The Immersive Group took over Deacons in 2017, and have kept a real traditional pub vibe inside. With a focus on guest ales and a reputation for great quality beer, this award-winning establishment is one of the last remaining Free Houses within our city.
Caboose, a 1920's inspired parlour, popped up in 2019 and has been a huge hit, serving a thirst-quenching selection of fine spirits and eye-catching cocktails. Doubling up as a bougie B&B, you can expect real elegance in one of their eight beautiful luxury bedrooms.
Hixon, Salisbury's newest chophouse, brings an exquisite dining experience to the heart of our city. With a menu consisting of the highest quality steak, the freshest seafood, and the tastiest sides, it's easy to see why Hixon is one of our city's fave foodie spots!
The Immersive Group try to buy local wherever possible and love to support other independent businesses. Their meats are from Hampshire, and their cheeses come from Lyburn: a local supplier who created a Mexican Wahaca especially for them! The trio use Bramley toiletries across all of their businesses, the linens for the boutique Caboose bedrooms are sourced locally, and they use small-batch suppliers for their Tequilas!
Dave & Amy are also responsible for the fabulous Frost Bar that pops up at Christmas time on the Guildhall Square, and the Salisbury Summer Garden Bar in the Summer.
Dave Hancock grew up here in Salisbury and has a long history in hospitality, together with Aimee Hancock, who has a PR and Marketing background (and is the creative eye of the business), the pair have always made sure they do what they can to give back to the City. Originally trained as a chef, Matthew Thorne started off his journey as an employee, and due to his expertise in all aspects of the business, recently joined the duo as a director. This triple-threat have over 60 employees and believe that personal development and investment in their staff is important, as well as encouragement to be themselves. They strive to live by their ethos - family, values and corporate processes.
