Immerse yourselves in a vibrant celebration of music for all ages! Enjoy FREE ENTRY to both the house and its tranquil gardens and participate in a wide range of engaging, free activities, including sea shanty workshops, interactive sound exploration, a family ceilidh dance, the chance to play Sir Edward Heath's Steinway piano, a music-themed craft tent, an under-fives music session, summer soundscapes, and a captivating clarinet performance inspired by nature.
Guests can look forward to a diverse range of engaging activities, including:
- Interactive Sound Exploration with local songwriter Louise Jordan.
- An Energetic Family Ceilidh Dance for all ages and abilities, guided by a caller.
- Under Fives Music Sessions packed with singing, signing, shakers, and dancing led by Emily Askew and her array of instruments.
- Summer Soundscapes, where Louise Jordan will invite participants to collaboratively compose music inspired by the Arundells gardens.
- JUMP, a captivating musical journey into the world of nature with live clarinet music by Karen Wimhurst and accompanying vibrant videos.
- A Creative Music-Themed Craft Tent offering a drop-in activity for children to make their own musical creations.
- A Rousing Sea Shanty Sing-Along Workshop with The Wareham Whalers, who will also give a performance by Arundells' unique shipwreck.
- The chance to Play Sir Edward Heath's Steinway Piano at various times throughout the day, with occasional guest performers.
