From Darkness to Light: The Advent Procession
All are welcome to join us for this extraordinary, atmospheric service as over 1000 candles are gradually lit to illuminate the medieval interior, taking us from darkness into light as we embrace the hope of Advent. Doors will be opened one hour before the start of each service. No tickets are required for this service. Everyone is welcome. Entrance to the service is free.

Festive Late Night Opening
Free festive fun at Salisbury Cathedral! Explore Salisbury Cathedral after dark, with live music performances in the Spire Crossing throughout the evening. Enjoy performances from the Salisbury Cathedral Staff Choir (6:40pm to 7:05pm), Kate Edgar Singers (7:15pm to 7:40pm), and join our Come and Sing-Along session with festive music and carols accompanied by piano (7:50pm to 8:15pm). New for this year, children can take part in a free silent mini disco in Trinity Chapel throughout the evening, featuring a playlist of fun festive music.

Christmas Organ Extravaganza!
Get festive with Salisbury Cathedral organists David Halls and John Challenger for a joyful evening of Christmas classics and audience sing-alongs on the mighty Father Willis Organ. Hosted by The Very Revd Nicholas Papadopulos, Dean of Salisbury, and Revd Ross Meikle, Missioner for Young People, this festive music celebration will fill the Cathedral with seasonal cheer. Expect to hear popular music including The Snowman, Sleigh Ride, White Christmas, and The Blue Danube, alongside organ showpieces such as Mulet’s Carillon Sortie.
