History made fun!

Come and join us for a weekend of activities and living history here at The Wardrobe in Salisbury Cathedral Close as we learn more about the First World War with our 'World at War' weekend!

Learn more about the life of a soldier during the Great War with reenactors from three living history groups: 'The Wiltshires in the Great War', 'The Great War Society' and 'Brasso & Blanco'. They'll be setting up camp in our garden on both days- bringing a range of weapons, uniform and equipment for you to see for yourself and even handle.

We've also got plenty to keep the whole family happy all weekend long, with loads of activities for kids including medal making, garden trails, periscope making, costumes for dressing-up and object handling sessions!

And, as if that isn't enough, we'll have live bird displays from the 'WWI Falconess'- who will be bringing her owls along for you to meet and watch in action.

The event is entry by donation- so you can pay as much or as little as you like!
