Step into the world of the Bloomsbury Group through the lens of Ham Spray House, the Wiltshire home where writers, artists and intellectuals including Lytton Strachey, Dora Carrington, and the Partridges created some of their most influential work between 1924 and 1960.
This exhibition brings together paintings, sculptures and rare films – including footage of Dora Carrington and other residents – alongside period ephemera, photographs and ceramics from the Omega Workshops. Works featured include pieces by Duncan Grant, Vanessa Bell, Stephen Tomlin, Angelica Garnett and Roger Fry, drawn from both public and private collections.
Discover how this circle of influential English writers, artists and intellectuals shaped cultural life – and what their time in Wiltshire reveals about their creative world.
