Wiltshire Makers is a celebration of local talent, craftsmanship and community spirit, bringing together an impressive collection of products created by artisans across Wiltshire.
Showcasing a range of local artisans and their products, Wiltshire Makers is a not-for-profit community interest company that launched in November 2020. Their pop-up shop in Old George Mall, opened a few years later in December 2023, offering makers the unique opportunity to retail from a high street shop. Something which is often out of reach for individuals due to cost and the volume of stock needed.
The makers are all based in Wiltshire, and the shop is a true testament to the diverse talent we have across the county. Featuring both regional creators like Utta Nutta peanut butter and Wessex Spirits as well as a large number of individual artisans who each create food, drinks, crafts and gifts. The pop-up shopâs stock is always evolving, but the current lineup includes items such as artisan jams and pickles, local honey, craft spirits, bespoke homeware, handmade jewellery and local art illustrations. If youâre in need of a gift for a friend or relative, Wiltshire Makers is a great spot to head to!
One thing you might not know about this indie business is that the shop is run by the makers themselves who volunteer their time. So, each time you pop in, youâre likely to be served by a different local artisan maker!
Whether you want to support local, find a wonderful gift or just treat yourself to something special, this indie pop-up shop in Old George Mall is certainly one not be missedâŚ
