Join us at The Wardrobe between 10am and 5pm on the 8th and 9th August for our annual Living History Festival!
Take a journey through more than 1,000 years of military history as our Living History Festival returns for another action-packed weekend. We'll be joined by a wide range of re-enactment groups who will bring the past to life, transporting visitors from the medieval period through to the Second World War.
Explore authentic encampments, meet historical characters, and discover an incredible array of weapons, uniforms, equipment and everyday objects from across the centuries. As you stroll through the grounds, experience the sights, sounds and stories of military life throughout history, presented by passionate and knowledgeable living historians.
This free family-friendly event offers a unique opportunity to step back in time and engage with history in an immersive and interactive way.
