Across four early-morning sessions, when birds are at their most vocal, you’ll discover proven techniques for identifying species by sound. We’ll share simple, memorable strategies to help you connect each song or call to the right bird, building your confidence week by week.
Sessions take place in a variety of greenspaces and habitats around Salisbury, giving you the opportunity to experience a rich range of local birdlife. As well as learning to recognise birds by ear, you’ll develop your visual identification skills — including key features, behaviour and flight patterns.
By the end of the course, you’ll be better equipped to step outside and understand the soundscape around you — transforming everyday walks into a more immersive and rewarding experience in nature.
