Step back into the turbulent years of the twentieth century at our 'World at War Weekend', a fascinating living history event exploring the experiences of soldiers and civilians during the First and Second World Wars.

Throughout the weekend, a range of living history and re-enactment groups, including The Great War Society, The Wiltshire Home Guard, and The Wiltshires of the Great War, will bring the period to life through authentic military encampments, displays and demonstrations.

Get closer to history as you discover the uniforms, equipment, weapons and personal items used by those who lived through these defining conflicts. Meet the people behind the history, explore military camps and learn about the technology and everyday experiences of wartime life – from the trenches of the First World War to the battlefields of the Second.

Whether you're a lifelong military history enthusiast or simply curious about the past, World at War Weekend offers an immersive and engaging experience for visitors of all ages.
