Got a pair of jeans you don’t wear anymore? Dungarees that have seen better days? Or a denim jacket that needs a bit of love? Bring it along and transform it into something completely unique!

Join us for a FREE, friendly and hands-on customisation workshop at People in the Park, where you’ll learn simple, creative techniques to breathe new life into your denim.

We’ll guide you through:
Embroidery
Patch working
Visible mending
Fringing
Appliqué
Beading
Hand embellishment
Garment painting

Whether you want to go bold and maximalist or keep it subtle, you’ll leave with new skills and a one-of-a-kind piece.

Denim might be a wardrobe staple, but it’s not very planet-friendly. One pair of jeans can take around 8,000 litres of water to produce… that’s over ten years of drinking water for one person. So this is your chance to do something good for the planet and your wardrobe.

Open to everyone ages 14+, no booking required and no experience needed!

Just bring a piece of denim and we'll help you turn it into something special.

Workshop presented by Rosie Hearts Retro in collaboration with People in the Park.
