Opening the Christmas proceedings at Fisherton Mill is 'Surface and Substance', a fantastic mixed media exhibition running from Saturday 21 November until Saturday 02 January and providing lots of lovely Christmas present ideas. Six talented artists celebrate diverse approaches to process, craftsmanship and storytelling, combining glass, portraiture, ceramics, fine art and laser cutting in a wide-ranging, festive exhibition offering much for visitors to enjoy.
Group members will be in the Gallery for Meet the Artist on Thursday 27 November from 6 - 8:30pm and on Friday 11 December from 11-3pm.
The Mill has plenty to offer for those wanting to try their hand at making their own gifts. Sign up for one of Fisherton Mill's many Creative Christmas Workshops running throughout November and December. Lots to choose from and most classes are suitable for beginners.
Fisherton Mill's annual Christmas Shopping Evening is on Thursday 26 November from 6 - 8.30pm with live music from 'Sticky Toffee Jazz', mulled wine and Christmas nibbles from the award-winning Gallery Cafe. Christmas shoppers will be treated to a Gallery Shop full of original hand created prints, cards and gifts and a bonus 10% off their shop on the night. The Mill will also be opening Sundays during December from 11am - 3pm.
