Join curators from The Young Gallery, Chippenham Museum and Bath Spa University collections for a free talk about the Drawing Together exhibition.
Gain a exclusive insight into the Drawing Together: Bath Academy of Art at Corsham exhibition. Hear more about how the project came to be, the artwork featured and the history of the Academy. The event will feature a talk, followed by a tour of the exhibition.
Featuring painting, photography, print and sculpture, from artists including Gillian Ayres, William Scott and Walter Sickert, the exhibition explores teaching, learning, creative practice and everyday life at the Academy.
More than 40 Bath Spa University students have been involved with the project through bespoke workshops, discussions, interpretation and creative responses.
The speakers will be:
Project Lead: Helen Cobby, Curator of Bath Spa University\'s Collections, and Lecturer: Collections & Material Culture.
Co-curator: Dr Emily Dunbar, Curator and Gallery Manager at The Young Gallery.
Co-curator: Alan Fuller, Collections and Exhibitions Officer at Chippenham Museum.
