In preparation for our gala concert on Sunday evening, Nigel Wyatt presents a talk about the intriguing history of early performances of Handel’s Messiah in Salisbury in the 18th century.
Salisbury Musick is a three day festival, celebrating early music - from 2nd to 4th October, 2026. As in the eighteenth century, when three day festivals of music were held annually in Salisbury to great acclaim, Salisbury Musick brings together local musicians and visiting experts to provide a wonderful range of concerts, talks and educational opportunities.
