Twice winner of Edinburgh Fringe First Awards, The Horse of Jenin is Palestinian actor and comedian Alaa Shehada’s moving, funny and deeply personal story of growing up in Jenin.
Blending storytelling, mask theatre and stand-up, Alaa recalls the five-metre horse built from the debris of conflict that became a symbol of freedom - creating a powerful celebration of imagination, memory and resilience.
