Join us for this special mini-exhibition celebrating Salisbury Cathedral's musical heritage.
Throughout the centuries, from medieval to modern times, music has resounded within the Cathedral walls. Discover some of the stories behind the notes! Exhibition highlights include a medieval manuscript of plainsong once sung in the Cathedral, a rare print of the 1710 Renatus Harris organ, and a viola made in Salisbury by Benjamin Banks in 1770.
The exhibition will be held in the Cathedral Library. Please note that access is only via a 37-step stone spiral staircase.
Due to limited space in the Library, it may sometimes be necessary to queue for entrance, particularly during the weekend.
